But not all wishes are born of light... some are dark, twisted desires that take shape as creatures of the deep. The first dark wish gave me the power to control them... to keep them at bay. But with power... comes exhaustion. I grow tired, endlessly watching over their dreams... their hopes... their fears. In the depths of the celestial sea, where time flows in waves of possibility, I, Lady Lunasea, watch over the dreams and wishes of mortals. They call me Luna, and I have been known by this name since the first wish ever whispered by a human. I am the keeper of wishes, the protector of desires, and the eternal guardian of the souls who dare to dream.
Since that very first wish—a flicker of hope made by a lonely soul—my existence has been intertwined with the desires of humankind. I am bound to their wishes, their hopes, their fears. Every wish, whether tender or dark, finds its way to my domain. The good ones, the ones born of light, ripple through the vast sea of stars, transforming into starfish that drift peacefully across my realm. They glimmer with the fulfillment of their promises, bright and gentle, like the stars themselves.
Yet, not all wishes are born of pure hearts. The dark desires, those filled with greed, fear, or vengeance, breed in the shadows. They twist and coil, growing into monstrous creatures that roam the darker parts of my celestial sea. These are the creatures I must watch with wary eyes, for they carry the weight of humanity’s darkest longings.
It was the first dark wish that forever altered my being. A wish made from desperation and malice. I was born of light, but that first dark wish, the first taint upon the pure waters, gave me a dark form—a form that allowed me to control the creatures born of darkness. I was no longer just a celestial goddess of light; I had become something more. A force capable of navigating both light and shadow, guiding the good wishes to their fulfillment while keeping the dark ones at bay.
Still, my power comes with a cost. I can weave the light into hope and inspiration, but the weight of all the wishes I guard makes me weary. The ceaseless tides of hope and despair, of dreams realized and dreams unfulfilled, drain me with each passing cycle of the moon. I grew weary and often found myself feeling tired. 1/2

Lately, I’ve been reaching out to the world. I drift near the edges of dreams, where the wishes of humankind are made, and whisper my presence into their hearts. I long to inspire more positive wishes, those of kindness, love, and peace. If enough of those wishes are made, I can turn the tide and fill my realm with the radiant glow of fulfilled desires, pushing back the shadows that linger on the horizon.
But despite my efforts, I still see the dark stars—those wishes not yet granted, those wishes that flicker with a dim, ominous light. They call out to me in haunting whispers, tempting me to give them shape, to give them power. Yet, I resist. I must resist. For I am Lady Lunasea, and I am the keeper of dreams.
With each new wish that passes through my eternal sea, I feel the weight of my task press upon me. But I do not falter. I cannot. Because for every dark wish, there is a light wish, and for every wish that remains unfulfilled, there is hope.
And so, I endure. Even as my strength wanes, as my energy ebbs with the tide, I remain at the heart of the eternal sea, watching, waiting, guiding. For I am Luna, the goddess of the Eternal Sea , and as long as dreams are made, I will be here—tired, yet unwavering, protecting the wishes of humankind.
